Australian Merino

The waffle knit isn’t only there for looks. The texture holds small pockets of air against you, so it’s warm when there’s a chill about. It also lets heat out when you’re moving, so you won’t overheat. It’s a sweater for the in-between months, and for anywhere the air conditioning is set too cold.

It’s made from 19.5-micron Australian Merino, fine enough to wear against bare skin with nothing underneath. It’s light enough to throw over a shirt and still look right with your sleeves pushed up. It’s 3D knitted in one piece, so there are no side seams and no offcuts.

Like all Merino, it handles odour on its own. Wear it a few times, hang it up overnight, and it’ll be ready to go again.

Every sweater is knitted after you order it, not before. That means less waste, no overstock, and a sweater no one else has worn or tried on. Please allow 6-9 days for knitting before it ships. I’ll email you when yours is on its way.

I chose it for this piece because I want to support US supply chain where I can. The wool is grown in Australia, the yarn spun in Italy and it's knitted in Brooklyn. 

Sizing: If you’re between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit. Not sure? Email me before you order and I’ll help you get it right. That matters more when it’s made to order.

Care: Wool cleans itself more than you’d expect. Air it out between wears. When it does need a wash, hand wash it cold with wool wash and dry it flat. Don’t hang it, and don’t put it in the dryer.
